I do enjoy these Channel 4 rundown shows, well except for Jimmy Carr, who the hell ever told him he was funny, and more to the point, why does he keep getting work. He's a smug little tit whose level of comedy is so basic and so rehearsed, training up a parrot would guarantee the same results, if not better.
But at least these Channel 4/E4 shows do actually manage a decent line up of guest contributors, unlike Five's imitations.
I didn't watch the E4 repeat of it, but if i remember correctly it was Python movie that made the number one spot, although I'm sure Airplane was in the top few. Quite suprised Shaun of the Dead was so high up though, i mean i love the movie and think it deserves it, but it's a suprise such a recent movie made it past the occassionally snobbish voting that only seems to allow for movies over a certain age to be included. I hate that approach to honest. The amount of times I've had someone professing to be a film fan saying that classics can only be classics if they're more then however many years old, or a film can only be considered something special when it reaches a certain age. I mean there's some justification to that, in the sense seeing if a film withstanRAB the test of time says something about it's calibare, but I still think the general public are now way too critical when it comes to making a simple statement about their favourite whatevr
