^Yep not expecting much, But Room On Fire is really good, Reptilia is my favourite Stroke's song and 12:51 is also up there. First Impressions Of Earth had a few good songs.

Top 5 banRAB that relate to Animals in some way:

1) Modest Mouse
2) Dinosaur JR (reptiles, animals. w.e i'm counting them)
3) Arctic Monkeys
4) Animal Collective
5) Frightened Rabbit

I know man, I've been listening to them in particular a lot lately, which is how I posted that. They're really good, I love how unrestrained they are... I suppose all no wave banRAB are to an extent. It was certainly an interesting scene.

Top 5 CRAB That Are Physically Closest To Me As I Sit Here

2. New York Dolls - Too Much Too Soon
3. The Legendary Pink Dots - The Crushed Velvet Apocalypse
4. The Stooges - S/T
5. Johnny Thunders - So Alone

'Carousel' is like *the* classic blink song IMO. Great song.

'Untitled' is one of those rare songs that the vocals nearly completely turn me off. Ugh, this is the Tom I can't stand. 'Dumpweed' is pretty bleh.

I have barely listened to Take Off Your Pants so I can't really comment on those.

Cheshire Cat
is kinda front-loaded but 'M + Ms' and 'Fentoozler' are both Mark.

Dude Ranch gets off to a good start ('Dammit' is the other classic, duh), despite some Tom vocals, kinda hits a lull in the middle with Tom's songs, and then is good again around 'Josie' when Mark has a few in a row. In fact, 'Josie' is a great example of using Tom's voice for small amounts in the chorus--my preferred dose haha.

The Strokes make me sad, they were touted as THE band of the 00s and they just never lived up to it. Is This It was a brilliant garage rock record then after that they were just mediocre, I hope they produce something special with their 4th album but I highly doubt it.

Well, The Wall is without a doubt my least favorite popular Floyd work. I don't even find it bad, it's passable and all. Its concept really does not nearly speak as deeply as Roger obviously would have liked to... Hence my comparison to it 'being about walls'. My friend who hails it as a favorite praises its musical diversity... I really don't think a mediocre stab at adding in occasional 'awkward' instrumentation brings anything new to the picture. Wish You Were, Animals, and Meddle were all much more consistent and brilliant... And all had a hell of a lot more Rick.
