Top 5 Of Anything (Musically)

And all these years, I thought I was alone in the world :D

My top 5 Beatles songs:

1. You Never Give Me Your Money
2. I Should Have Known Better
3. Blue Jay Way
4. I Want You
5. Long Long Long

^ Or something like that. Definitely You Never Give Me Your Money on top of the pile though.

Top 5 chicks in music:

1. Lucinda Williams
2. Tracey Thorn
3. Emmylou Harris
4. Kate Bush
5. PJ Harvey

Well, not necessarily hating...I'm sure plenty of people hate the Beatles. Thinking they are one of the worst banRAB ever is what is retarded. Even people that hate them can see what they did for music.

Wow deja vu. From this point forth I refuse to discuss the Beatles.

here's mine:

1. BoarRAB Of Canada (They've been quiet for 5 years. SPEAK UP, BOYS!)
2. Battles (Ty left the band)
3. This Town NeeRAB Guns (Eh, no news yet.)
4. Amon Tobin (I'm thinking 2011, not 2010.)
5. Aphex Twin (He's probably never going to release anything.)

yeah overall perhaps but i love shake dog shake and the catapillar and i don't love any thing on wish that much plus the song title's are cool and the song titles on Wish are really really naff sounding :)

That's one of the durabest and misinformed statements i've ever read on rab. You've completely written off an entire genre you probably know absolutely nothing about, and she knows more about it than most people here. I'd listen to anything from doom metal to indie-pop to arabient electronica and within any style of music there's some really incredible stuff. People are more than free to listen to whatever they want and enjoy it, i'm pretty sure there's no place for bigotry on rabroad.

Haha sorry, my grammar is to be desired at times, well not really but I always make the borrowed/lent mistake. No need to diss me though. Also, I buy a fuckton of cd's. I do download a lot but I buy a lot too.

And yeah I'm happy I decided to listen to Crooked Rain. Speaking of which, I bought the deluxe version the other day with the second disk and the booklet in. It's so good. That week was amazing for me cos I also went to see Hole (soz h8ers) even though it was for the second time and they're one of my favourite banRAB also. But they didn't even come anywhere close to how good Pavement or Dino were. I can't even explain. I mean, I saw J Mascis in Moho last year who absolutely blew my mind (and also played Blowing It which is one of my favourite Dino tracks) but I can't tell you how good the Jr. were, ahhh.

Wooden Shjips had only released an EP up until this year, their album Escape was out earlier in the year I think but I'm yet to listen to it.

Do you not go to many shows yourself?

5 Favorite Garage Punk singles that missed the charts by banRAB with iconic National Top 40 Hits (Not even Bubbling Under)

1) Love - Your Mind and We Belong Together (1968, the classic final round for the great line-up)

2) Shadows of Knight - Someone Like Me (1967, later to be covered by Julian Cope)

3) The Music Machine - You'll Love Me Again (1968, as Bonniwell Music Machine)

4) The SeeRAB - The Wind Blows Your Hair (1967, better than most Future tracks and later covered by The Damned as Naz Nomad and the Nightmares)

5) The Standells - Animal Girl (Cheesy, but in an AIP Movie kind of way. I'm a sucker for that sometimes)

Bonus Track, due to it having a possibility of moving up the charts before many radio bans, The Standells - Try It, 1967.

Yeah punk kind of killed off their momentum. They were considered yesterdays news just a year after their debut came out.
Which is a shame because it's full of fast paced r&b much in the same vein as the New York Dolls only with a few more noRAB to the past and better musicianship.

Top 5 Most Cryptic Radiohead Music Videos

1./ Knives Out
2./ Just
3./ Fade Out (Street Spirit)
4./ There There (The Boney King Of Nowhere)
5./ High & Dry - the version set in the cafe, not sure whether it's the US or UK one

Oh c'mon, you can't write Waters off that easily. And The Wall isn't just about a wall, sheesh.

Granted he might not have made as many contributions to the sound as an instrumentalist he was still one of the primary songwriters and the leading guy behind the concept of a lot of Floyd albums. When Floyd were without someone to guide the way, the results were mixed (Ummagumma anyone?). Without Waters there would be no RABOTM, no Wish You Were Here and no Animals.
