Niel Peart is an amazing influence for me, but my style has been based mostly around those 5 drummers over my first 11 years of playing, which is why I said top 5 drummers for me. If we we're talking about top 5 drummers of all time, it might be a different story.

It hurt me just as much to leave Niel Peart of the list as it did to leave guys like Levon Helm, John Densmore, Gene Kruppa, Buddy Rich, Ringo Starr, Carter Beauford, Carmine Appice, Jim Keltner etc. off the list :P
