Top 5 songs with a year in the title

1. Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky - 1812 Overture
2. Smashing Pumpkins - 1979
3. Van Halen - 1984
4. Prince - 1999
5. Zager and Evans - In The Year 2525

Hmm I'm gonna have to seriously disagree. Especially considering the massive overplaying of Black Dog, Kashmir, and Stairway to Heaven (though the last one is still probably deserving). And it's not that Black Dog and Kashmir are bad, just heard 'em too much and they're the usual suspects for classic rock radio. They're the songs that got me into Zep about 20 years ago.

Top 5 Deep Purple albums:

1. In Rock ('70)
2. Perfect Strangers ('84)
3. Machine Head ('72)
4. Burn ('74)
5. Who Do We Think We Are ('73)

The unpopular opinions topic is over there

Well now you're in "greatest album ever" territory. :/ 5 truly classic songs on one album?

It's got some great songs, but I'm not sure if any of them are truly classics. I think it's one of the best albums of the last decade, certainly, but I think it's more a collection of great songs rather than a few phenomenal songs with a mediocre supporting cast.

No problem.

Top five Sonic Youth songs
1. Becuz
2. The Diamond Sea
3. (She's In A) Bad Mood
4. Drunken Butterfly
5. Reena

Seems like a weird list to me but I like it.

Edit:

Not too bad, I dig that accordion. I do remeraber having a fondness for their song 'Anchor's Aweigh'.

I've heard the new EP and To Leave Or Die... but I need some more of their stuff. However, from what I've heard, my favorite is Congratulations John On Joining Every Time I Die by a long shot. But my bias may be the fact that I like Every Time I Die.

top five theme tunes.
1. Black strobe - Im a man.
2. the dust brothers - fight club
3. Scrubs - Im no superman
4. mgmt - time to pretend
5. scoooby doooo :o: :D

I sort of toss-up "Dogs and "Sheep" on any other day; I know that I prefer both of them vastly to "Pigs (Three Different Ones)" (not that it's bad, but it's not near the other day imho). However, as of late, Rick's playing on "Sheep" has grown on me exponentially. With Animals, it's always been a toss-up between those two tracks.
