Top 5 Of Anything (Musically)

You're kind of making my point, Joy Divison is the most recognized out of my list, but they don't get the praise they should in influencing the Emo music scene, thats my point with Blue Cheer you have to mention The Stooges for someone will even think about Blue Cheer and they were probably the Godfathers of metal. As for The Resident isn't the whole Avant Garde scene about not being recogized, but they influenced for much that no one knows about banRAB like Primus and They Might Be Giants. There was even a reference on The Simpsons to the single Santa Dog' 92 that a lot of people didn't understand.

Oh man that's a nice list as well

...and now for something completely different

If you are talking about First Impressions of Earth, that album is so disappointing I don't even count it. It's like their Cut The Crap or their Let It Be.

Worst album? Oh c'mon. You may not like it but saying it's the worst is ridiculous. Whatever you think of their later stuff, Piper is one of the most influential albums in British music and still sounRAB astonishingly original over 40 years later.

Cheers :)

In fairness, 'Tender' would never have made the list, but I was lucky enough to see them do it at Glasto last year so the song has turned into something epically epic in my head now. Otherwise I think 'Bank Holiday' may have crept in there...

Definately more of a fan of their earlier stuff.
