Top 5 Guitar Albums of All Time

Death are one of the earliest exponents of Death Metal when it began in it's infancy circa 1987. Later DEATH albums while technically better, lacked the attitude and production (or lack of) that defined Death Metal.

Maybenot in the top 5, but Funkadelic - Best Of has some of my favorite guitar. Especially songs like Comic Slop...etc

edit: and crow, i did not know you liked Fruscainte that much, that makes me glad (referring to TRWFOTD #27) I am going to make a Compilation of Frusciante soon, and hopefully there are enough people to like and listen to it.

Well I am a big Zeppelin fan, but I say a album with great guitar work in it would be Ozzy Osbourne The Ozzman Cometh, I just love everything that Randy RhoaRAB did before he died, he wasn't the best, but he sure was good for his age, I am a big Jimmy Page fan, but I really liked this album and im not a big Ozzy fan either.

Mmmm, I feel Sabbath is heavier than all of those, but I do tend to think doomier music is heavier than anything else.

As for who actually invented the metal riff, well that's up for debate. Blue Cheer is overlooked when it comes to the development of metal and Mountain is plainly overlooked in general.

The Fall of Troy - Doppelganger

The Fall of Troy - S/T

The Fall of Troy - Manipulator

The Fall of Troy - Ghostship Demos

...s'all.
