Top 5 Greatest Frontmen of All-Time

Reviewing some of my old VHS tapes that I used to watch religiously as a teen, I feel compelled to renew my list. Keep in mind that I only suggest these people as they were in their prime.

In no particular order:

1. Mike Patton
2. Philip Anselmo
3. Zach De La Rocha
4. Layne Stayley
5. Greg Puciato

"Oooh we're The Kooks, we're so Indie and all we sing about are girls"

I thought I may as well vent my hate for them, even though it won't change your opinion of them. :D

TheCunningStunt no likey, but you like some other banRAB I like at least. :)

Oh and what's he taking then? Was it just alcohol or drugs?

I think he's talking about the bad brains h.r.

...Most soul singers(otis redding, james brown) would probably steal it, so I'll just put best front men in rock banRAB.

iggy pop
bon scott
joey ramone
phil lynott
jimi hendrix

I agree with most of this list.
- Robert Plant: His voice makes Led Zeppelin. Fantastic examples include Kashmir, Whole Lotta Love, and Rock and Roll.
- Ian Curtis: If he just performed @ one show in the states, it would have changed this iconic band forever...and for all we know, we might have never heard of a band called New Order.
- Freddy Mercury: Do you honestly think anyone else could have pulled off the following songs in quite the same way? Bohemian Rhapsody, We are the Champions, You're My Best Friend, Stone Cold Crazy
- Thom Yorke: I like him and I am a big fan of Radiohead, but I can't put him in the same league Instead I'm putting the following 2...

- Jim Morrison: His charisma alone made The Doors soar into the upper echelon of popularity. They were considered the "dark horse" in an era of free love and Age of Aquarius. Songs like The End, When The Music's Over, and Riders on the Storm: My Lord he was amazing!
- David Gilmour: The Dark Side of the Moon. Need I say more?

:dj:

1. Ian Anderson-Jethro Tull
2. Jimi Hendrix
3. James Brown
4. Neil Fallon-Clutch
5. Frank Zappa

honorable mentions

Phil Anselmo-Pantera/Superjoint Ritual
Bruce Dickonson-Iron Maiden
Michael Jackson
D. Boon-Minutemen

I'm not the one who said Vedder was hard to understand though am I? So if you said that, it'd be pretty useless information to me.

You said Kurt is hard to understand and I think he's a little easier to understand than Vedder.

Probably both, but I reckon that if you'd seen him you would of stopped hating him so much. It was hilarious, him being drunk was, well, rather loveable.
Vent all you like, it makes no difference (:
