Top 5 360 Games you need to have?

Hahaha...well they arent bad games...and dude was talking in another thread about financing the damn system so i figured in addition to those games being enjoyable, cheap games might help him out!!
 
"hey guys, let's make a next gen zombie title that makes the player READ 90% of the story. we can also throw in a cell phone that rings after each 30 second map load that the player has to answer or we'll just keep making the janitor call back. oh, and the player can't defend himself when he's on the cell phone! brilliant!"

As for the small text, I played on a 65" hdtv and I had to squint. Shit was ridiculous compared to the genius of RE4.
 
No Shit! I was expecting it to at least use the same game engine or do SOMETHING right after doing so much right with RE4, but instead, Dead Rising was pretty poorly put together.

I was so bummed...the original trailer and the concept of that game was amazing, it honestly pulled me in and made me buy a 360....they just forgot to make it fun/playable.

You gotta admit, though, running through zombies with the katana swords or chainsaw killing everything is pretty fun...but the game itself was difficult to play, save points were few and far between, and the story was just plain boring. I got bored and barely made it anywhere in the game.

Geometry Wars is the best XBox Live Arcade game, and the most addictive game since Tetris
Oblivion is epic, definitely need to check it out on any system
I personally wouldn't consider any other 360 games "must have" but there are obviously some other good games depending on the type of game you like.
 
I agree with your points. Good idea, terrible execution. Dead Rising was also one of the titles that pushed me to buy an x360 (glad I rented the game though).

I enjoyed the katana and running over zombies with the lawn mower
 
i believe Gears, R6:Vegas, and Lost Planet all use the same engine: Unreal 2K7 engine... and I think the upcoming Mass Effect and Lost Odyssey will use it as well.. that engine is being whored out like none other
