Top 3 Pixar Films

I don't see why so many hate Cars , perhaps because of Owen Wilson?
It's my son's favourite film and he watches it every week, and I let him because I like it just as much :D

Anyway, I must have a very different sense of humour to the majority here as I thought Monsters Inc and Ratatouille was horrendous - found both absolutely boring and couldn't even watch either to the end.
Found Incredibles nearly as bad.

Can't wait to see Up though.

I agree with you. I don't see the humour in any of those other films you mentioned.

I just love everything about Cars, it has a really good story, I love the "moral" of the story, how he used to be a selfish racing car, who only cared about being famous and winning the piston cup...... but then changes and gives up the cup to help a struggling old car past the line before him... awe!.

Why doesn't everyone like it?????

1. WALL-E
2. Finding Nemo
3. Monsters Inc.

I do like Toy Story as well. For me the worst one (I haven't seen Cars btw) is A Bug's Life, I found it kind of boring.

Incredibles......brilliant script
Finding Nemo...again brilliant script and Ellen de Generes is terrific.
Hell, that's all I've seen of Pixar. Bloody useless I am.

Well... it just isn't as good! I mean, it is Pixar, but it's kinda dull and feels by-the-numbers to me. Perhaps the problem is that it is about... well, cars. The film's co-writer / director Joe Ranft, was killed before the film's release in a car crash (he was a passenger, car was speeding on Highway 1). Kinda takes the sheen of it, doesn't it? Pixar can make rats cute, but not cars.

Monsters Inc was a mess of a story but with good characters imho, and Bugs life was hampered by an annoying lead character, but every other film has been stunning. Hard to pick a top three... I actually started this thread some time ago for that very reason. Looking forward to Up...
