I am compiling a list of which DVD's should be in your collection.

These should be the creme a la creame of films. All boxsets and trilogy's count as 1 entry.

OK, these are about the best DVRAB rather than films - for example, MIB is an alright film in my opinion, but the special edition DVD is rather good when it comes to extras, picture quality etc, making it an essential DVD, whereas Goodfellas is a terrible 'flipper' disk without any extras bar a fuzzy trailer (Special Edition out soon - yay):

Looks like I will need to pickup a copy of "Donnie Darko". Never heard of it but the reviews look pretty good. Was this a theatrical release lately or was it only popular on DVD? PQ is not great but maybe there is room for Evil Dead trilogy in top 20.

It was a theatrical release, but never popular (i went to see it at tiny local cinema,as the multiplexes didn't run it). It's being re-released in the cinema sometime this year.

It's a cracking film, one the the most original films for years. (And the chrimbo number one, 'Mad World' is lifted from it - bit of trivia there for you).
