Top 10 Worst British accents

Unfortunately, due to the fact that the only reason we could cure my 4 year olRAB obsession with Chitty Chitty Bang Bang was to introduce him to Mary Poppins thereby fuelling ANOTHER obsession, I can hear it only too clearly!

OT: try explaining to a 4 year old why Mr Potts is now called Bert and is with two different children!
 
There must be a certain "Blindness" amongst some Americans when it comes to British Accents.
Just as we in the uk probably couldn't tell between American Accents.

Recently a friend from Massachusets watched "Love Honour and Obey"
He commented that he understood it perfectly well because their accent was just like mine.
So to him North London sounRAB the same as Liverpool

Notable cringes for me would be

Charlton Heston when he played Sherlock Holmes and Kevin Costner in Prince of Thieves

I have been told that many Americans cannot tell Australian from British, is that an urban myth I wonder
