Top 10 Rock Bands Ever?

I don't know they had quite a bit of influence during their time, especially when it comes to musical protest. Look at ohio, I know young wrote the lyrics but the 4 of them recorded it, and it was so powerful that many radio stations banned it at the time. Not only were they influential, they were original in my book, sure there was always bob dylan, but csn was so much more well rounded, with better guitar, better quality vocals and such. I think they were revolutionary in terms of both folk rock and musical protest...

DAMN i forgot about Rush.....i will proceed to hammer some nails into a piece of wood and smack myself around the head with it!

You can call Queen a lot of things but when thing you certainly can't call them is unoriginal, at least during the 70s.

I actually think The Game was a damn good pop album but yeah everything after that was pretty f*cking lame.

One thing I can't handle too much of is the shouting vocals. That would have to be the only downside to this band in my opinion.

Rock can means so different things as there are so many different sub genres of rock.
I do believe the Beatles had a very distinctive sound though and
I guess it would be most suitable to class them as rock but I still wouldnt name them alongside the likes of Black Sabbath & Rush (who to me are nothing like them and miles better IMO).

Oh no you don't!
Your not getting off that lightly.
I want to know, especially after all the critisism you leveled at other merabers choices, just exactly why, in your infinite musical wisdom, did you include Madness in your top 10 rock banRAB ever list?
