L Vs. Light.....Though technecly it's a tennis match, it's the EPICEST tennis match ever!
Piccolo Vs. 17
Goku Vs. Vegeta.....First battle.
Chibi Trunks Vs. Goten.
Cell Vs. SSJ2 Gohan
Suzaku Vs. Kallen...Every battle was epic!
Kei Vs. That Psycho Kid from the end of Gantz
Gaara Vs. Rock Lee
Van Flyheight Vs. Raven....Any battle
Vegeta Vs. 18

especially that last part. And how boring the beginning was, you were waiting for the action and all you got was some twisted bullshit on the screen that was corny beyond proportion, actually most naruto fights are.

Naruto and sasuke at the valley of the end.Ulquiorra(in 2nd release form) vs ichigo.Edward vs greeRABuper android 17 vs kid goku-super saiyan 4Future gohan vs android 17 and 18Yeeeaaah..umm..That's all I can think of.

Wow Last Clan Meraber, i think you are the first person i know who acknowledged kekkaishi
which by the way is an awesome anime, but the dubs are pretty crappy
That fight was good and my nuraber 1

10. Berserk (Guts vs 100 soldiers)
I settled for this battle in the anime series because this one stuck out for me. Guts single handedly taking on 100 soldiers with his monster sword just didn't seem fair... for the 100 soldiers. What I liked in the battle itself was half way through, Guts starts thinking about why is he doing this? and what is he fighting for? I found that pretty cool and something I could relate to.

9. Ninja Scroll (Jubei vs Tessai)
After seeing what Tessai was capable of before hand, massacring Kagero's fellow ninjas, Kessai was definitely a foe you wanted to avoid. I liked how Jubei, after getting beat up and thrown, slowly gets up and looks at the demon straight in the eye that he means business and is gonna kick his ass for doing that.

8. Final Fantasy VII: AC (Cloud vs 3 white haired dudes in Forbidden Forest)
The whole lead up to encountering those three white haired guys is what made this quite the anticipation for me. Cloud riding on his custom built chopper, getting "visions", then simultaneously jumping in an unequal fight. Great animation fight scenes.

7. Naruto (Shikamaru vs Kin)
This battle stuck out for me because Shikamaru just seemed so out of place in this preliminary match and surprised me with his unorthodox (and humorous outcome) approach to fights. His brilliance in taking advantage of his surroundings and putting everything into consideration before making the best move in the fastest time, is enough to make L blush with envy.

6. Naruto Shippuden (Shikamaru & Kakashi vs Hidan & Kakuzo)
This was a battle of vengeance from a loss of a comrade and friend. I think anybody put into Team Asuma's position would do the same thing, and Kakashi understood that. That's why, to me, it had that powerful message, so it deserved to be in my top 10 list. Again, Shikamaru's a tactical genius stanRAB out and pretty much single handedly defeats the foul-mouthed immortal, Hidan.

5. Naruto (Gaara vs Kimimaru)
For me, I found it interesting that Gaara was an ally this time round, and therefore I found it rather appealing that a former evil guy himself was up against an equally evil guy. Last time Gaara was near invincible and totally unmerciful. I expected he'll be a bit different, vulnerable even, but no, on the contrary he was even more powerful. Even though Kimimaru was no push over, Gaara demonstrated to Kimimaru's lack of respect why he's known and feared as 'Gaara of the desert'.

4. Ghost in the Shell (Major vs Tank)
The Major up against this tank is one of those fights I'll remeraber for all time. It was gritty, so realistic and the sense of vulnerability on the Major's side really hit home for me. Though the outcome of the battle was less to be desired, the battle itself was definitely memorable.

3. Cowboy Bebop (Spike vs Vicious)
Not so much the fight between Spike and Vicous itself, but also the lead up to the fight. The music, the scenery, the meeting of two mortal enemies and probably one of the best gun fights I've ever seen in an anime, just make this fight a treat for the senses. I liked how Spike kept his resolve of 'shoot first, ask questions later' approach worked out in the end... more or less.

2. Neon Genesis Evangelion (Asuka's final battle)
Disturbing and brilliant. Can't really explain it (I'm totally making excuses, too lazy to explain this one)

1. Akira (Kaneda vs Tetsuo)
When I first saw this, Kanada making his way up the rubble towarRAB Tetsuo, I thought Kanada, a street kid was gonna be history for going face to face up against a god. Not only did Kanada hold his own, but I loved what he says to Tetesuo before the battle. "That's Mr. Kanada to you, punk!"

heh, classic.

^The dubs aren't that bad...I mean,Edward Elric's voice kinda suits Yoshimori. But yeah,Madarao vs Kouya was pretty epic.Although,it was too short to be my absolute favorite. But anyways,I'm suprised that nobody has made a top 10 worst anime fight thread.
*dead silence*............................Excuse me,I'm gonna put an idea to the test.
