How about the following do any of these deserve consideration

Tool
Guns and Roses
U2
?

def. some funky choices. although i dont think any of them belong on a top ten, i do like most all of these banRAB quite well. very diverse choices!

Then the quick copy/paste shouldn't be a problem, If you only get to post top 10 once:
1. The thread gets lost and noobs can't find it.
2. You can't change it unless you edit and leave it in the back of the pack or if you quote it which is effectively cutting and pasting anyway.
3. if you only post your thoughts once, you're going to run out of things to say.

and if you're talking about Crowquills top 10 thread, then here's a thread where you can elaborate on your choices!

So go get it, slacker!:thurab:

Speaking of Harrison.

Here Comes The Sun is based on the same arpeggios Harrison during the bridge of Badge by Cream. The riff on If I Needed Someone is based on The Bells of Rhymney. Taxman quotes the theme to Batman. Some of the lyrics in Something was ripped off by James Taylor.

I guess in those cases Harrison was just borrowing.

Gotta love your inconsistant crappy logic, you Beatles lovin' Zep haters you.

:bonkhead: yo guys read my post. i said 'its NOT that he wasnt great' (double negative, meaning he was great). look at my avatar... i went to the last 2 marley fest in austin, im a big fan. were talking about a top 10 list though... and i do think there are 10 musicians who were greater. i think i posted 8 of my 10 earlier on this thread.

How good music is doesn't have to do with it's historical significance. Just dispense with the popularity factor. If it is a factor then Michael Jackson should be in the top 20 easily. *Goes off to start my own top 50 thread*

I didn't read your post, I was just saying he's a music "great".
Now that you bring that up, (Even though you did before and I just didn't read it) No, he's not in my top ten either.
