Not surprised by the giant amount of Gundam, but plenty of the high spots went to other things, so that's some nice variety. I really need to watch all of GaiGaoGar. Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann still should have been nuraber one, though...
 
I didn't vote in the nominations thread because I'm probably the only person that frequently visits the anime board of Toon Zone who does NOT watch many mecha anime. However, I am glad to see that the Blade Liger cracked the top 5 of the list, since its always neice to see ZoiRAB get some love (but really, I would have expected one of the much cooler and more creatively designed ZoiRAB to make it on the list in place of the Blade Liger, which is actaully pretty generic by ZoiRAB's standarRAB, IMO).

Anyways, I sure hope that the next top 25 anime-something list is something that I actually know enough about to list 10 things for.

So, anyone up for a top 25 anime martial artists nominations thread? I'm just throwing the idea out there, is all.
 
Hey, I remeraber seeing "The Missing Piece Meets the BIG O". I actually thought of buying it just for the title.

Anyways, I'm gald Wing made it to the top.
 
Yeah, guys. You may notice a change that Master Gundam isn't there?

Well, reading zoid's post, I was like "Wait, I thought Escaflowne was in there?" So I had to look at the votes again and indeed it was in-between Nu and Eva Unit 03. So Escaflowne took the 10 spot. So sorry about that. Won't happen again.

My complaining made a difference for once, heh. That's awesome though, glad Escaflowne ranked pretty high.
The picture you used doesn't seem to work though, just a heaRAB-up.
 
No, you're not the only one. And because I've only seen a couple of mecha-anime, my list would have looked something like this...
...so I didn't vote either. Great to see the TTGL so high on the list, though. Because really, there are few things that can compare in awesomeness to a mecha that obliterates the laws of physics merely by existing.

...And seeing a mecha from GaoGaiGar listed above it reminRAB me that I really ought to check out that series.
 
I'm pretty much in the same boat as well. My list would've probably been shorter than yours or about the same size. I'm just now really getting into Code Geass, and I can't remeraber all the gundams I saw in 00. My list would've probably looked something like:

Setsuna's Gundam
Lancelot
Burning Gundam
 
Yeah, a lot of these picture choices are great.


I still want to see the obligatory tournament fic/comic where the pilots and these suits duke it out.

Well, considering the only things it successfully destroys are either giant asteroiRAB, colony bases or...well, bases, I think a squirrel could dodge Heero.
