All good except:
WHAT?!

All FOUR other scores are infinitively better than Shrek the Turd's. And just before you say, "well, you never listened to it and you just hated the third movie so you're just being biased!" WRONG. I've listened to
all five (well, Paprika I haven't honestly listened to the actual soundtrack, but from the movie it sounded good) and honestly Shrek's was just Henry Gregson-Williams repeating leitmotifs and certain cues from the past two films. His brother Rupert composed an entirely new score for Bee Movie, as well as Hans Zimmer with The Simpsons Movie. (which, to be honest yet again, does use the Elfman theme quite a bit, but there's still plenty of new material) To top it all, Michael Giachinno constructed a FANTASTIC (and all-original) score for Ratatouille, that not only won him a Grammy, but also got him an Oscar nomination. I'm sorry, but I cannot see how whoever voted for this made the right decision. Yes, Shrek the Third has some great themes in it. But, guess what? They're borrowed from the OTHER TWO films! All the others had completely new material written for them (with TSM being a very slight exception)...
...Sorry, but the rules for the Academy is that you must have seen or listened to all the subjects before voting. Isn't only fair that voters for anything else do the same?...then again, look who we have for president...(rimshot)....
