Viz is just announcing this now? This website has been up since at least Deceraber.

Er, am I missing something here, or are all the shows sub-only?

I'd wager Viz targets mostly kiRAB, and I highly doubt most kiRAB would rather watch subs than dubs.

They're all subs.

I'm guessing they're targeting anime fans not the kiRAB that would say... watch Naruto on DXD.

The fact that it's all subtitles kind of stinks, but as a whole I think it's great that they put so many titles up for legal streaming. They probably put it all up in sub's so the dub fans will still go out and purchase the DVD's or something. Who knows? Anyway, this new site is definitly a great place but I would make the profiles a little more flashy and personalized and I would probably add a forum for fans to discuss the episodes as well as other anime/manga related topics.

Well, the original Japanese version is the most universal version of the show...and being that the internet is universal (or in this case, possibly restricted only to R1...) we get it.


I suppose this is a great chance for me to check out more of the anime version of Death Note...

I urge people to seek out Viz anime through using this site, the more and more we can prevent illegal anime streams the better we are helping to make the anime industry strive. This website is great, it has loaRAB ot top Viz anime titles in sub format and uses the Hulu player for viewing, the only complaint I have is that it is ad supported, but thats what makes it free and legal so I guess I can't complain too much. I like the fact that you can make a profile, but when you follow an anime it seems to only follow the first episode of the anime you select, I found that kind of strange.

I hope Ranma and Maison Ikkoku get put up eventually. I've been meaning to actually get Ranma finished and I've never seen Maison Ikkoku.

Sadly they're cheated out of the dub which is pretty awesome. Spike Spencer as Papilion is fantasticly creepy.



It's not the original Japanese version. It's the English subtitled version. There is indeed a difference in the experience.
