This is the talkback thread for VIZ Acquires License for "Vampire Knight" Gothic Animated Series.

Looks like this is a shoujo title, in contrast to a series like Hellsing or even Trinity Blood. Vampires seem to be in a lot of fiction right now, so I can see why Viz would go for this. I'm sure it helps that they're releasing the manga as well, of course.
 
They also emphasized TV. Hope this gets a good deal. This would be really lame on Chiller, and vampires are hot these days, so can we hope for something big?
 
ABC Family would be interesting since Viz sold the TV rights to Shippudden to Disney XD though SyFy then eventually Chiller would be more likely.

MTV or Teen Nick (the channel) might be possibilities as well.
 
TV eh....Vampire Knight on DisneyXD! I Kid of course..LULZ! But Yea I say probably Scyfy, ABCFamily, or possibly AS, Possibly.

I guess I'll watch it. Not a Fan of Shojo. But heck, I'll give anything a try once! & im just glad its not another Toyetic Series!

Now if only Funi would hurry up & make some TV deals for some of there stuff!( Sgt. Frog, Soul Eater, One piece..etc!)
 
Interesting, since this isn't a really "new" show, though I guess it has maintained some decent level of popularity.
 
You could argue that Trinity Blood is shojo... Look at all those gorgeous men.

I don't know if I'd tune in to this. I like my vampires manly. But if my Twilight happy niece gets into this I may have no choice.
