Wow Ouran is a real success for FUNi. It's the only anime on the list that never aired on TV.
It's also interessing to see Code Geass in the top.
 
To be honest, I'm surprised Geass is even on the list at all, considering Best Buy doesn't even carry anything past Part 2. (grurables)

And I third the surprise that Ouran's on there, but it's a pleasant surprise. It's a quality show and I'm glad to see it getting noticed.

The rest are pretty predictable, though I'm surprised Bebop is so high on the list, considering how long it's been out and that the Anime LegenRAB set was released last year, not incredibly recently.
 
There's only one real surprise here, but it's certainly not unwarranted. It's a good show and Funimation dominates the market after all. Everything else was more or less to be expected. Everybody knew Afro Samurai Resurrection was almost a given, really, plus all the big shounen and kiRAB oriented properties are always going to do well. Cowboy Bebop speaks for itself and seeing Code Geass selling pretty well is probably also a good sign for Bandai. I didn't expect to see it on the top ten either, but relatively high sales were predictable.
 
I'm another one who's surprised, but also glad, to see Ouran on the list.

Also, to be honest, I'm actually kind of surprised that Yu Yu Hakusho also made the list (not that I'm disappointed at all ), but what's more surprising to me is that One Piece somehow didn't make the list. I was sure that it would at least be a top 5.
 
Yay~ Glad to see Ouran on the list. That's a definite pleasant surprise there. I'm also happy to see Yu Yu Hakusho making the list despite its age. It's a quality show that deserves to be there. I guess the re-re-releases are doing well. I'm also glad to see Geass on there. With those, my top 3 favorite series were all on the list.
 
Hm... maybe. But I tend to sadly not keep track of these things.

It's just that I've really gotten back into One Piece and well... I'm on a Straw Hat High right now that I want to see it get more renowned here in the US.
 
Cool, surprised, awesome that Code Geass made the list. And my Best Buy carries lots of Code Geass DVRAB.. Though not the singular volumes as much as the 2-packaged ones.
 
Heh...if I felt offended about why people buy what they do...personally, I'd be complaining about Afro Samurai instead.

Particularly since Resurrection was so bad, even for just being what it is, but that's perfectly logical too.
 
a "movie" is nuraber 1 .. bah!

I'm collecting Nurabers 2-10 on dvd so I'm doing my part (except for the naruto fillers and bleach bount singles)!
 
i only recently watched afro samurai 2 and was disappointed by the ending. i tried to get into naruto but couldnt. dbz? speaks for itself. i'm enjoying kai. i've only read some things about ouran. doesn't look like something i'd like. cowboy bebop is okay. yu yu and fma are really good. never gave pokemon a chance and probably never will. bleach and code geass are deservedly on that list.
