Please welcome darkdetective to the TZ News team with his inaugural interview with Joe Murray!
 
I am...hopeful. I really think the technology is finally getting to the point where we can do this with stuff like revision3, that guy with the glasses' site, and all the little networks that use justin.tv and stickam.

Animation *is* expensive...but Joe Murray seems really committed to this, and there's more good, watchable animation showing up online all the time. I'll be watching this.
 
With the channel being plugged in so many places it will probably have some success, just wish Joe would've made a better "launcher" toon, not neccesarily Rocko level, just something that didn't look like another flat cartoon you could go watch on CN.

Anyway, what caused Icebox to have trouble? I ask this because the reason behind its creation was practicly the same as Kabla... Kaboing TV, if Joe knew of it hopefully he could avoid it.
 
I first learned about this project a while back and then when I checked out Diaspora's Kickstarter which linked to other Kickstarters, I noticed the amount of money Joe Murray's project on KaboingTV.com was way over the goal. I enjoyed his early works of Rocko and later on Camp Lazlo. He has many followers just like me. I am glad he's still doing animation and looking forward to this new ambitious project of animated cartoons being solely aired on the internet.
