Toon Zone Talkback - "The Simpsons" Season 20 Coming to DVD/Blu-ray

On what planet?

Season 20 was the season that ultimately made me give up on the show. Season 20 couldn't compare the quality of the first 7 or 8 seasons in a million years.
 
Season 20, and all the Seasons back to Season 10 are now nicknamed the "Zombie Simpsons." Why? Because they they don't have a pulse or any intelligence and the series just won't die.
 
Does it really shock you, at this point, that some guy on the internet does not like new Simpsons episodes? If you want to see this argument again, just Google it, you'll probably find more than you ever wanted to know.

Eh, the Simpsons made over 700 million selling crap like this and only 220 million on TV revenue, so there's has to be a 'fan' base that keeps it alive somwhere.
 
Apparently, FOX also took the opportunity to finally revise the famous "Who's Who in Springfield" poster from 1998 for this release, adding characters from Seasons 9 through 20. And, uh...it sucks. It sucks hard.

Why go through the trouble of actually drawing an expansion to the poster when you can just Photoshop some promo art in there and call it a day? (Also, layers? What are those?)
 
The other problem I have with that image is that I just don't care about the included characters. None of the new or incidental characters of the past 10 years have stood out and the one's that have become re-occurring characters (Lindsey Neagle, Cookie Kwan, The Crazy Cat Lady) I couldn't care about one bit. For some reason I detest all of Tress McNeille's recent Simpson characters.
 
The Poster .................is just god awful

No Commentaries is terrible ( still holding out that it will be on there)

The Special is now coming out two days before the DVD. But is not on the DVD but a Preview is????????


I have pre-ordered this but most likely will not pick it up. I'll wait till its on sale next Christmas or buy it on eBay used later this year
