Toon Zone Talkback - "The Cleveland Show" Gets Third Season

I think The Cleveland Show's ratings have more to do with it's lead in (The Simpsons) and it's follow up (Family Guy) more than it's own quality.

I don't hate the show, but it's average at best. It tries too hard to be Family Guy when they should go a different direction.

This fall, it'll be airing at 9:30 following FG when Bob's Burgers debuts at 8:30 following The Simpsons. Unless Bob's Burgers gets the early axe and Cleveland goes back to it's original timeslot, I think it's ratings will drop. Maybe not significantly, but they'll definitely go down somewhat.

Not too bad a show. There are some funny things on the show. I like how the take little jabs at Family Guy and vice versa. It isn't as good as Simpsons or Family Guy, but it's better than American Dad, which I haven't got into a ton, it's too right wing. I like SNL members Jason Sudekis and Will Forte on the show too. They are both hilarious. With all the crap on tv now, at least there are a few creative shows left.

I really enjoy The Cleveland Show and have no complaints about it. So this is good news to me.If you don't like the show simply don't watch it.

I don't see how it "tries to hard" to be Family Guy. It's style of humor is almost completely different than Family Guy's and the most of the character's are nothing like Family Guy's characters.

Cleveland Show rules good to know it has a season 3 Fox wants those ratings plus look at it like this

Cleveland Show and Boondocks premiering the same night and what do they have in common?

Well Cleveland Jr is a lot like Chris only a tad smarter, and Rollo is a less funny version of Stewie, and Cleveland also has an aminal best friend, just like Brian is Peter's best friend so the similarities are definitely there.

Kind of have mixed feelings. I don't hate the show but over the months something always bugged me about the show until I realized that it's Cleveland that's the problem. He's just a very irritating character that takes me out of the show just when I think it's picking up.

There are some big differences between Cleveland Jr. and Chris.

Rollo's personality isn't the same as Stewie's.

That's funny. Just because Tim the Bear is apart of Cleveland's circle of friends and is an animal doesn't make him Cleveland's best friend. It's been established that Terry is Cleveland's best friend.

Boooo to y'all, The Cleveland Show is great. Quickly became the Seth show I anticipated most each week - while I still love FG and AD, familiarity knocks down the former and a little fatigue has set in with the latter.

I loved how TCS had continuity. Continuity in a McFarlane show!
