Toon Zone Talkback - "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" Episodes Air on TNT

Why does this say the season finale is January 30? That is wrong. The article clearly states:

March isn't January 30.

Also, for those afraid that the second season won't be on CN or will be on TNT only, the article also clarifies this.

Finally the premiere date for TNT is also wrong. The regular time slot premiere will be February 18 at 10 PM ET, but the actual premiere is February 14 after the NBA All-Star Game with the first two episodes.

Like J!!! said, this was the plan since the beginning, and Turner isn't losing money since they own both Cartoon Network and TNT. And Cartoon Network isn't going to stop airing new Clone Wars, it's just going to be running simultaneously on both Cartoon Network and TNT, with premieres still airing on Cartoon Network and TNT showing reruns as well as CN. So I see no negativity in this. Isn't this also like the first cartoon TNT has shown in like a decade??

Well, one thing to keep in mind is that CN and TNT both have the rights to Clone Wars, but both only have the rights to 22 episodes.

If the season ends in March, we should be seeing a pretty consistent premiere run throughout February and perhaps a one-hour or two-hour finishup in March.

This leads into a question, though: will YAH show reruns of Clone Wars even though it is rerunning on the rest of the network and TNT? Or will a new show of some kind replace Clone Wars during the show's break?

They'll probably keep the show on the block, even in reruns.

Anyway, the news isn't surprising since it was mentioned from the beginning that the show would air on both networks. I was wondering when the show would debut on TNT.

It should be interesting to see how it fares on TNT. Will it do better than on CN or vice versa? It reminds me of how Family Guy is on Adult Swim and TBS.
