I'm glad someone here likes it. However, I may just wait for it to come on video... save my nickels and dimes for Toy Story 3. :sweat:
 
Isn't three paragraphs a little short for a review?

Anyway, glad to hear this is decent. I'll probably end up seeing it when I visit relatives in three weeks.
 
Glad to hear that it's better than Shrek the Third, I thought that was the movie where Shrek series hit rock bottom, I still have a fondness for Shrek 2. I thought that it was pretty good for a sequel. Considering all the mixed reviews I've been seeing, I might take the plunge later next week to see it just to keep the tradition of seeing all the Shrek films in theaters.
 
I'll go and see it, the same way I went and saw Shrek 2 and Shrek the 3rd. It's odd, because I didn't even the first Shrek was that good - but something about the franchise as a whole makes me want to watch it to the end.
 
I thought the first and second Shrek movies were great. I didn't care much for Shrek the Third, but then again I was on a hot date and wasn't paying that much attention to the screen.*

* Why did I take a woman to see Shrek 3 on a date? The two movies playing were that and Hostel 2. There was no way in hell I was sitting through that, even if she wanted to see it. In retrospect her interest in Hostel should have been a nice fat warning sign for how the rest of the relationship would go.
 
I consider this my 2nd favorite in the series, just behind the 1st one, slightly ahead of the 2nd, and WELL ahead of the cinematic nightmare that was Shrek The Third. But with the exception of Shrek 3, I've enjoyed everything else the franchise has to offer.
