Toon Zone Talkback - "Seth MacFarlane's Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy" Crap

Guys, I'm not a mod, but um, this discussion's getting a bit too raunchy. Young kids are a part of this forum.

Having said that, the Mario bit would have been funnier if he'd run into one of the Mushrooms as opposed to the Princess and gone into a rant against said mushroom for not being the girl he came to rescue.
 
As was said, let's tone it down a bit. Granted the discussed content is explicit, but that doesn't mean this talkback has to be :)

I'm gonna agree that Cartoon Cavalcade is basically all the cutaways they can't fit into Family Guy. There are some decent ones like Jeff Goldblum Wafers, but the majority are just bad joke ideas that FG's main audience will lap up. I think like in FG, alot of these were probably hilarious if you were there when they were pitched in the writer's room but acted out online or DVD...no. Especially agree the pop culture ones are just making jokes fans have made for years.
 
I can't believe they tried selling these. You could see them for free online, they are funny exactly once (as said earlier, why rewatch a simple joke you know the punchline to?), and it amounts to a stripped down Family Guy. It's Family Guy...without Family Guy.

I wouldn't even pay $5 for this junk.
