So after Chad loathed this, I asked him if he'd send it to me. A few days later, it turns up in the mail. Now, I haven't read much of the manga, and the animation is a trainwreck at points (mediocre digital pans and horrid 3d fx animation: ruining anime since 1998,) but the gags and pace are just so fun and rapidfire that I'm absolutely satisfied with it, so much so I should have bought it in retrospect. I'm only 4 episodes in, but that manic pace and it's willingness to hit every trope without even trying to lampshade it (unless it's for a laugh,) is a welcome bit of campiness.
I couldn't watch shows like this all the time, but I like getting my dose of Nakayoshi saccarine.
