Hmm, mixed feelings about seeing this based on the review...
 
I'm over half-way through Rin (just finished ep 4 of 6) and so far I agree with everything said in this review. I personally have to say its NOT as bad as its internet reputation. Don't get me wrong its definitely adult, but only speaking for the first four episodes the scenes of violence and sex are more highly suggestive as opposed to visually graphic. That's not to say you don't see any sex or violence, just that the more intense bits, lets say, lack detail. And believe it or not the story itself isn't half bad, it has quite a few sad and touching moments. Maybe its a case of having very low expectations but all-in-all I am pleasantly satisfied with this title.
 
ROFL, its so true. I really enjoy this show. It seemed very much a big homage to late 80's / early 90's anime. The kind of anime that left you with a "wtf did I just watch? O.o" feeling. But in a thought provoking way that made you think about what you just watch and what it meant.
