This is the talkback thread for Paul Dini Hired as Screenwriter for Upcoming "Gatchaman" Animated Movie.

I suddenly have much higher hopes for this movie. Paul's stuff is really good.

When I saw this I was just stunned, it looks like this is a serious project. This news puts it way above other retro movies currently in the works, in my book.

It's about time one of 'em got a big-screen writing deal. Now I just have to find out what Gatchaman is.

Gatchaman was an anime back in the 70's that was adapted into both G-Force and Battle of the Planets when it came to the US.

I've been excited about this movie ever since I heard that the people who worked on the newest Ninja Turtles movie were doing this, so Paul Dini is just icing on the cake.

Hopefully, the Astro Boy movie they're also making will be just as great.
