This is the talkback thread for "Persepolis" Returning to Theaters with English Dub.

Well, this will get people to watch it who otherwise wouldn't watch it in French. At least the original two actors will be reprising their roles. I can see this airing on Turner Classic Movies down the road.

How many theaters did Perspeolis originally open in? 100 still isn't a lot, but for some reason it seems like a tad higher of a number than a few months ago.

Anyway, here's hoping it opens in a theater near me.

Hey I'm glad Persepolis is coming out with an English dub though I can sit through a foreign film and understand with subtitles. The movie has historical backgrounds that wants me to go see the perspectives. However, I missed it the first time and hopefully gets re-released in the Columbus area at the Drexel.

I'd rather it come in with an English dub in more than a handful of Artistic movie houses running them at Midnight (I'm a purist. A Midnight Movie has to be BAD for it to be a midnight movie. Either campy or intentional, or featuring Transvestites from Transylvania), so I can actually see it. It looks like an amazing movie, and something that every Animator should see in their life time.
