He, more than George or John, had a whimsical touch in a lot of his songs. Writing for a cartoon should be easy for him.
It would seem that animation is one of Paul's many interests. I think he's voicing the villain in Shrek 4. (The only reason for me to watch that movie.)
I can't wait to hear the new songs of course, being a big fan. He has had experience in the art of writing songs for animated shorts. One of his rarities is "Tropic Island Hum" and is truly fantastic.

Woah, Paul is one of my favorite guys in the music biz. So what type of animated film is this going to be? Hand-drawn, 3D, Stop-motion? Anyone know? My money is on the hand-drawn
I can't wait for the new songs and the film, myself.
I am actually indifferent with McCartney, but I don't mind listening to his stuff.
As soon as the songs are released, I will try to grab a copy for Toon Radio so everyone can listen to them
