This is the talkback thread for Media Blasters Announces New Noveraber Titles Including "Ikki Tousen".

Though I found it inferior to the 2003 series, I'll be getting Dragon Destiny. FINALLY.
 
So, they were able to get Dragon Destiny after all? Good for the fans.

But will it be dubbed? After the recent turables Bandai had, Media Blasters dubbing this might be a problem.
 
Dragon Destiny eh? About time it makes its way over here.

I still haven't seen Great Guardians though, so I'm not sure whether I'd be willing to invest in that sequel series yet.
 
Does anybody know how essential the Genshiken episodes on the KujiAn DVRAB are to the series? I'm considering if I should invest in KujiAn for that (Yes, I would invest $30 for 3 episodes like I would years ago), but if there isn't much to them then I'll skip it? Any help with that?

And I STILL need to see Giant Robo, and that $20 tag is mighty enticing.
 
In the meantime, I'm still waiting for them to announce Dairugger XV (the original Japanese version of the "second half" of Voltron; it's the show where they got the "Galaxy Alliance" idea from)...
 
They introduce a couple new main characters, at least one of whom has a major impact later on in the story. A few themes are also visited here that will be touched on again later on. It's probably not story-breaking to skip these, but they definitely tie into everything between the two seasons.

I'm happy IT-DD is finally getting a release date.

And yes it will be dubbed.

rab will outsource the dub to another studio instead of New Generation Pictures.
(NGP Dubbed the first season)

HAHAHA! Damn it, finally! I was beginnin' to think that Dragon Destiny was never gonna make it over here, it was always my favorite of the 3 seasons.

Better damn well be a decent dub, though. If it enRAB up suckin' to all hell, I'd rather them just re-sub it.
