This is the talkback thread for Media Blasters Announces New February Titles Including "Dairugger".

If anyone likes physical comedy, I highly recommend Ramen Fighter Miki, especially at that new low price.

Yay Dairugger! I've been waiting for this one, I always prefered the Vehicle Voltron over the Lions.

Nitpick...Dairugger isnt a sequel to Voltron. It's a seperate series that was macreked with GoLion to create the Voltron series.

Ramen Fighter Miki is pretty good fun too.

FINALLY!

Incidentally, that's technically incorrect. Dairugger (XV) is not a "sequel" to "Voltron" (Go Lion). That was WEP's idea. The two shows are unrelated (except for the fact that both have corabining mecha).

Incidentally, "Dairugger"? Why did rab leave out the "XV" (pronounced "15" as I understand it). Maybe they didn't want to confuse people who aren't "familiar", or something like that?

Still, I'm really looking forward to this. After Go Lion's depressing portrayal of the Earth's fate, I'm hoping that Dairugger XV (which is where the "Galaxy Alliance" bit came from) will have a much more positive tone...

You can probably get that cheaper in the standard box of 5 DVRAB right now. Or perhaps the same price.

So... Season 1 is profitable enough for a re-release but it's not profitable enough to dub season 2? I'd buy it again if the Season 2 Litebox had a dub. I kid you not.

No real hope for Final getting a dub but hopefully they'll get a boxset of that out in 2010. I recall a rab rep said they did want to release Final.

I think I'll get Miki cause that's a darn good price.

I'll probably be getting the Ramen Fighter Miki Litebox set, in the future.

This release will be cheaper than the set that's currently out, and since it will be in a litebox, it will save me some shelf space.

Hm... Dairugger may be an investment in the near future. Quite surprised that rab will go out of their way to release it here, for I thought they'd stop with Golion and call it good.

Dairugger, much like Go-Lion is a not very good show turned into an awful hack dub. I really wonder how much nostalgia can push sales, because that's all that will.
