I shared a lot of the sentiments about both movies; love the art style, the story's solid, and the comedy has its moments.
Solid first review, as well; a strong opinion and lots of details. However, I feel it shouldn't have spelled out the whole movie like it did; it went too in-depth into the plot and kinda pulled out the suspense that should have been left for viewers to experience for themselves. I would think a review is meant to inform people on whether a movie is worth seeing or not, not a recap for those who have seen it and a massive spoiler for those who haven't.
And personally, I didn't find the villain(s?) resolution that impressive, but the opening was pretty clever.
