Toon Zone Talkback - Kuwait City Getting Cartoon Network Park

Hey, where's Kuwait City? I MUST travel their to see this.

I've always imagined what a CN park would be like. I've always wanted to come up with a whole bunch of ideas to use for it. Like, for example, CN should make a deal with Build-A-Bear to make a Build-An-Imaginary-Friend shop, where you can, well, build an imaginary friend with provided material, and even be able to buy "classic" friends like Bloo, Wilt, Cheese, or even Jackie Knomes and Flufferbutt and even (if you want to) Bendy and Goofball "Johnm" McGee.

Suprisingly enough, Kuwait City is the capital of Kuwait. :p (I had to look it up just to be sure LOL). So it's located on the East Coast of Kuwait (Persian Gulf), which has Iraq to the north, and Saudi Arabia to the south.

I wonder what they are going to put in the park????

If anything, is there a way that we can ask CN to make a CN Park in the U.s. as well?

If they do, they should start by adding it on to the many Six Flags around the states.

I'm all for a CN park in the U.S., if they only put in things relating to Pre-2005 shows (No Squirrel boy or Gym Partner junk, not like anybody would really want that.) And maybe Chowder and Ben 10 as well, of course they would have to have those costumed fellows walking around the park as well... This could be the chance for CN to get Shaggy and Scooby out of Universal. (They have issues fitting in when the rest of the characters are the simpsons and spongebob.)

Yeah. Too many kittens in that area.

Still, without getting offensive here, not a smart place to put an American cartoon based theme park. A country that doesn't like us for reasons that will go unsaid. I'd say somewhere like Hong Kong or something would make more sense. Even some random bit in Europe or South Africa or something. But a place rife with violence? If this is a testing ground, they really need to go back and study. Cuz it's a test... ah forget it.

Anyway, a little offended they didn't think of anywhere here first.

Wow smart move CN. Putting a park out in Kuwait City so that terrorists can blow it up. Honestly, that's just genius. You know what else CN, I am going to put up a sign in Kuwait City saying "I am from America and I put a theme park on your soil and destroyed religious values" Do think the people in Kuwait would want some money grabbing Americans to build a lousy elephant circus on their land and allow some spoilt brats to play on it? Yeah looks like you finally grew a brain CN. You know what else CN, I dare you to visit your theme park on the day George W Bush will visit the Middle East. You'll probably find lot of explosives to play with. There will be grenades, suicide bombers, airships, and guns. Oh fun fun fun! By the way CN, while your there, don't forget to bring your umbrella.

I'm arab and I've lived in the middle east for 17 years so I know alot about the land.First of all kuwait and most of the middle east don't harbour terrorists or have bombs everywhere so avoid jokes like that (And try to not take Leno too seriously):) .Anyway Dubai is making their Marvel theme park and I'm guessing they have too much projects on hand for The CN park so they may have left it for Kuwait. From what I hear,Kuwait is going to be opening a whole line of theme parks over the years to come.

Sorry king zrz, I guess what I said earlier was out of anger against CN. I think the Middle East is an awesome country with awesome people such as yourself, and I really didn't mean to offend you. I just carry a lot of rage against CN that's all. I think it is great Kuwait is getting many theme parks:) I just don't like CN though, so a CN park anywhere wouldn't go well with me. Again I'm sorry for being racist. I respect your culture and your religion. If CN put up a park in the US I would probably rant against them in the same way. I'm not thick headed, and I try to be open minded. The Middle East is an awesome place. Unlike some Americans, I do not think America is the center of the world:D If I offended anyone I'm very sorry, I won't make posts like that again.

You know, racist or not, the events that have occurred in that area are going to make Americans and other people unwilling to visit Kuwait.
But I guess if Cartoon Network is that popular in the middle east, it doesn't need to rely on tourists from outside the country.
