Toon Zone Talkback - "Futurama" Voice Cast *WILL* Return for New Episodes in 2010

It’s also odd since many of them work on other shows in which they get paid significantly less money. It’s only with high-profile shows that they make a stink about it. I know more money is always better and all of the voice actors need to make a living, but a tenfold pay increase? That’s just a bit much.
 
I figured something was up when I didn't see a headline reading "FOX Executives Massacred by Comic-Con Horde". So glad to hear they're back. :)
 
Didn't stop them from doing a Napster episode back when Napster was still fairly new. Of course, it seemed like the episode was anti-Napster, as was the craze amongst all Old Media types. Probably why I'm not a fan of The Proud Family, which compared file-sharing to drug trafficking.
 
So I wonder if there was actually a dispute with the actors, or whether it was just a set up by Fox in order to get more attention for the new season...
 
I knew they'd reach a settlement; this sort of thing happens all the time. And oh yes, I'm quite certain they'll poke fun at this whole incident in an episode somewhere in Season 6.

people wonder about the touch for writing jokes, and episodes in general. i have said before their jokes in the first 20 minutes of the movie still make my sides hurt. as for overlying plot lines they were never toooo focused on that before and i think they will do fine without big deadlines to worry about having to get something worked out right then. there might be a little bit of rust to shake off but that will be masked by jokes about how they survived their death and before we realize it they will hit their stride again and we will be happy.
