Well, apparently funimation has acquried another show, but instead of regulary just saying "Hey we are releasing (this) hooray!" they are going to make it interesting and play a game of pictionary to announce the new acquisition, it must be something worth mentioning, what do you think it is?

If he draws a bunch of squiggly lines, I'm predicting it's the nose hairs from Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo. Another company neeRAB to get them from Illumitoon who have been silent for two years now. And Funimation seems to be on good terms with Toei as of late.

It was, by geneon, but funimation distributing it themselves now.

Its such a pointless licence, because even rightstuf cant sell it at a very low price..

especially to play games for it..its not worth it.
 
They are releasing the manga portion and for the longest time published the manga in Shonen Jump. Since Illumitoon and Funimation are pretty much neigrabroadors, it seemed more likely to me they would get the anime. If Viz Media got it instead, I'd be just as happy. And count me in for wanting Dr. Slump licensed as well.

I don't understand the "minus frown" part of the picture. And I saw a couple of episodes of HGJ on MTV years ago didn't like it. But hey, it might be a good show later on.
