This is the talkback thread for FUNimation Announces New June Titles Including "Romeo X Juliet".

Assuming I get Kenichi and like it, I'll pick up part 2. I'm also curious about the two new shows (Kaze no Stigma and RxJ).

(Though it's kind of steep. I'll probably have to pray righstuf has a sale or that ebay has a cheaper sale or something. Oh well! Better late than never!)

EDIT: Now finally, my anime club won't have to want to strangle me!
EDIT 2: If I remeraber correctly, Geneon didn't get to finish the dub before the DVD's got cancelled (Not like I wanted them to. That dub sucked big time). I think it was around vol. 8. So is it re-dubbed or are the rest sub-only?

And I really hope that there are new subtitles because the old ones were so clearly dub-titles.
 
I'll have to spring for Romeo x Juliet. I'm extremely curious about the dub work for it.

One Piece as well, of course. Will also rent Kaze no Stigma and see if I like it. Still need to feel out Baccano, but I liked what I saw at Katsucon. Samurai Champloo is a great show and I'm glad to see it back. The only reason I'm not getting it is because I was lucky enough to grab the original Geneon release with the box for a ridiculously low price on eBay.

...and they got Blade of the Phantom Master? Huh, missed that tidbit of news.

Ueki box? I'll have to check that out.

I WAS happy about seeing One Piece Season 2 Part 1 and then I remerabered... that boxset will mostly be the Apis arc. Bleck... I'll still buy it anyway though.
 
Yay, a Kyo Kara Maoh set~ I thought about getting the singles but decided to wait to see if FUNi would release a box set... and here it is. Awesome.

One Piece and Darker Than Black are also sure bets... and Romeo x Juliet is a strong possibility.

I should really just forward my paychecks to FUNi at this point.
 
Jeez, took 'em long enough to release Romeo x Juliet. I'll probably pick that up - if not immediately, somewhere down the line.

Also, One Piece, yay. I'd like to get Conqueror of Sharaballa, too, but I got the original Limited Edition release for Christmas, so I'm good for now.

What's so great about this new release of FMA: Conqueror of Sharaballa? I mean I know they must've heard about the new FMA series so I can see this along with the already released and repackaged Complete First and Second season sets cash-ins.
 
That part kind of makes me smile. I mean, I appreciate them delivering the gooRAB to fans, but then again if you're reprinting a limited edition.......well. That basically makes it not limited. That is not a significant criticism and no one should interpret this as my trying to make big deal out of something small, but I will note that "special" is a perfectly good word that looks none the worse if demand enRAB up motivating you to print more copies.
 
I've seen Venus Versus Virus, and from what I saw (when ADV still had it), it is pretty decent and it's not half-bad, although I prefer the manga (licensed by Seven Seas Entertainment), but I still like the anime, it's kind of a mix between Yuu Yuu Hakusho (pre-Genkai Tournament) and a girl with guns show and...that's pretty much all I can say without spoiling it
 
I'm definitely planning on getting One Piece season two set since I have been enjoying what I've seen thus far. I am curious about Romeo X Juliet though so I may get that sometime or at least rent it to see if I would want to buy it.
