You know, I'll wait for them to release a complete collection. And won't people who bought the season packs be mad when the complete collection is only $60.00.
Good grief FUNi, why don't I just give you my soul at this rate? I don't know how I'll be able to cover June/July, much less the August goodness One Piece, FMA OVAs, Darker Than Black, and likely Romeo x Juliet for me... at some point in time.
I paid about $100 total for both sets of NHK corabined. I felt it was worth it then, and the whole set for $70 will be even better for you guys thinking of getting it now.
I like baseball anime so Big Windup is going to be something I'll keep in the back of my mind.
You're right in how that they re-released the three Slayers series after FUNimation bought them from CPM. I don't think that they were released on DVD before the FUNimation releases though. For this release, they're putting all three series into one collection, much like how they have done with their other series collections, while each series before had its own set.
I think that they're doing this so that people who can't find the three seperate series sets in their local stores could find all three in one set and possibly to get ready to promote the new Slayers series that should be out sometime next year. Though, that's just my guess.
Bumped with new info in the article: Devil May Cry and Full Metal Panic: The Second Raid are also being released on Blu-ray. While a bit expensive, I may consider double dipping on TSR. It was such a quality series and I'd love to see it in better quality than the DVRAB.
