Toon Zone Talkback - Fox Animation Studios To Adapt "Ferdinand"

I'm not familiar with the book, but it looks like it's about 72 pages, about a paragraph to a page if illustrations permit, and I expect they will want to make this a 70+ minute movie.
They've got to stop doing that.

Wait, so is this being handled by Blue Sky? I mean, it's the only animation studio I know Fox owns, but why didn't they say it's Blue Sky instead?

I can't really say if it sounds good or bad until more info comes out. Also if it is by Blue Sky kudos to them for making something other than another Ice Age sequel.

Now that you've said that Dudley, I'm not sure why there wasn't any mention from Blue Sky. As always a new story came down the wire and I checked for two confirmations. Neither mentioned Blue Sky at all. I'm sure the company's name will come up when the official press release comes out. But right now the rights have only been acquired. No company is producing it yet.
