This is the talkback thread for "Family Guy" Wins Court Case Over Song.

I had completely forgot about this suit. Not surprised that FG won the case, since the song is completely different and doesn't damage "When You Wish Upon A Star."

Huh, And the Pinocchio DVD/Blu-ray comes out this week. Coincidence? And lol at CN being part of the suit.

You know, when I first saw that episode, it never even clicked in my head that they were parodying the Pinocchio song. :sweat:

I figured they win the case. After all, it was a parody song, and it did feel different from the regular song that I thought that it was something like what Weird Al does with his song. But then again Weird Al does go out of his way to ask the artist and the recording labels himself.
