This is the talkback thread for DreamWorks Kicks Off Oscar Race Early with "How to Train Your Dragon".

It would be interesting to see two animated films nominated for Best Picture, but Toy Story 3 may be the only one that gets nominated. With that being said, I do hope HTTYD does get nominated in both categories.

I honestly doubt that HTTYD will be nominated for best picture. I loved it and all, but I just don't see it happening.

I can't see HTTYD getting a best picture nom. And honestly, I think TS3 has "best animated feature in the bag".

Very little chance of HTTYD getting Best Picture, but I could possibly see it getting an Adapted Screenplay nomination along with TS3.

I think How to Train Your Dragon will be nominated for Best Animated Film, Best Adapted Screenplay, maybe Best Original Song, and hopefully-but-I-doubt-it Best Picture.

Toy Story 3 has Best Animated Picture in the bag, and I think that TS3 has a better shot at getting a nomination for Best Picture over HTTYD. I honestly think that HTTYD is better suited for Best Animated Picture and possibly Best Adapted Screenplay, I don't think it's that good for Best Picture.

Hmmm TS3 was great, but it didn't really make me go WOW (except for that one part... Pixar has baaaallls XD), BUT it's a returning favorite so it'll probably get a best animated feature/best picture nod, probably winning best animated picture. HTTYD will probably get a best animated feature nod, but dominate in all of the technical categories.

Persoanlly I just hope Despicable Me gets a little attention.
