Toon Zone Talkback - DIC Launches "KEWL Cartoons" Online Streaming Channel

I saw Gadget Boy on there, and I noticed something. This section is listed as having "50 videos". Each episode is divided into three parts, right? Well, on one of the episodes, parts one and three are missing. Otherwise, we would be able to see the complete series.

It also has a live-action Spanish-language show called "Pepe Plata". I guess they must have co-produced it (or Andy Heyward did at least). Oh, and don't worry, it's not a novela, it's more like a sitcom. In any case, it's all well and good for people who speak Spanish, "pero no hablo espa?ol fluente" (but I don't speak fluent Spanish). In any case, it won't do so well for people who only speak English...

I also wonder, if the site will ever be "updated". As someone else mentioned, I hope this isn't a limited time thing. This really is the best idea that "Diffusion, Information, et Communication" (their old name when they were a French company) has had in years.

It's amazing how much trash DiC has made over the years. This online channel is a veritable hall of shame. Bad cartoons, the worst tokusatsu series ever, and cheap celebrity cash-ins.

I think this is what that one gentleman meant when he lamented about animation in the States being dull as dishwater.

I refuse to believe that. I mean, the early 80's they made some choice stuff. not the best stuff, but Inspector Gadget was one of the better cartoons of that era (dispite the fact they used some pretty untalented voice actors on occasion). heathcliff was also quite good when it got off the ground. I'd say the 90's was when they started to really put out the trash with Celebrity crap... and Double Dragon. Blehh.

What? No Captain N: The Game Master?

EPIC FAIL!

I would've bet that DiC would've put Sailor Moon on their site if they hadn't lost the rights but...they did. Oh well, I have other means of watching it.
