This is the talkback thread for "Claymore" Complete Series: Memorable Hack-n-Slash Action.

Though if you're interested and BD capable, you might as well wait for the Blu-ray release in February.

I agree with the article that things start to get good at episode 5. Real good. But I'd like to add that they begin to drag again around... oh, I can't remeraber the exact episode nuraber. Around 15 or 16? Something like that.

Also, Raki is probably the most annoying anime character I've ever had to endure.
Ugh. I hate him so much.

Claymore was a very good series indeed, but I'm still not quite satisfied with the anime original ending and how it was garable that didn't really pay off. Still, that's not enough to really change my overall appreciation for the title and it's definitely worth watching.

Regarding Raki, I never was much of a fan either but I tolerated his existence because it was a necessary part of Clare's development.

Great Review...Claymore is a great series! (both the Anime & the Manga) I to was pleased despite the all female cast there wasn't any fanservice Yagi Proves Female characters can stil be attractive just by being well written Strong Heroines! (or Villanesses)

I really hope once the Manga is done they will adapt the rest of the series, I for one would love to see a series ala hellsing Ultimate, that follows the manga more closely.

But yea, Claymore is a pretty good show & deffinantly a must for anyone who likes Dark Medival fantasy!

Great series, though I'm hoping for another series once the manga finishes, I would say along the lines of brotherhood but the first twenty episodes are almost a perfect adaption of the manga so that seems pointless.

Great review for a great series, yeah, also wish they made another anime, as usual things stop just when things start getting interesting (Claymore starts getting all sci-fi like after a certain point). If anything i just want to see grown up Raki animated.

i thought claymore was a great series but it does drag a bit in the final showdown in the town and again in the volcano. claire is almost like goku; she just keeps getting stronger and stronger but at least it makes sense as to why.

eps 5-8 chronicling the start of the relationship between theresa and claire was really, really good. some of the best anime i've ever seen. i'd recommend watching those 4 eps 1st before starting with the first one.

Claymore was a delight in my opinion, it's one of the best anime series that I have had the pleasure of viewing and it's become one of the top anime's on my list of all-time favorites. The characters were fantastic and really appealing, the music was fantastic and set a great mood and the fight scenes were very well played out in animation form, I do plan on revisiting this series yet again in the near future. I actually did a review for this anime in my blog, I gave it stellar scores across the board and Claymore deserved every accolade it recived, it's superb.

Oddly enough I have yet to finish the manga (which differs from the anime), currently I'm on chapter 76 now and should be finished by Friday or so, but as good as the manga is I have to say that I enjoyed the anime so much more. It seems like more people actually enjoyed the manga to the anime from the different forums I have read online pertaining to Claymore, so I guess I'm a rare bird in that respect.
