Robot Chicken - Lust For Puppets (Calvin & Hobbes, Grand Theft Mario)
South Park - Make Love, Not Warcraft
SpongeBob SquarePants - Bummer Vacation / Wigstruck

Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends - Good Wilt Hunting
Camp Lazlo - Where's Lazlo?
Hellboy - Sword Of Storms
Discovery Channel - Secrets Of The Deep

Wishes? South Park and Foster's. Bets? Simpsons and Foster's, probably.

Robot Chicken is nominated for an Emmy? This is like the first AS show to get that honor. Too bad the RC wasn't that funny. South Park should win it, but the judges probably will just read the names and chooses The Simpsons only because they love the old episodes.

Well, "The Haw-Hawed Couple" is actually pretty good, so I wouldn't mind if that won.

"Wigstruck" was one of the recent SpongeBob episodes that I've liked, too.

"City of Walls and Secrets", IIRC, was a good Avatar episode, but truthfully a lot of episodes run together for me since it's serialized and I'm not a -hardcore- fan.

Eh... not a Robot Chicken fan and I didn't think the episode nominated was their strongest offering. If it were the Star Wars special, then I might want it to win.

Haven't seen "Make Love, Not Warcraft" yet.

Not an Avatar, SpongeBob or South Park fan, so I could care less. I think I might of missed this Simpsons, so I can't really comment, but I admit this year I was rooting for "Springfield Up" to be nominated. Now this Robot Chicken I enjoyed, so that's my most hopeful. I was hoping for American Dragon's "Homecoming" to be nominated, but of course, it seems as if Disney could care less about nominating their shows.

For hour-long, I was hoping for Class of 3000's "Home" to be listed, but "Good Wilt Hunting" was pretty good.

The Star Wars special aired past the cutoff date for the emmys.

If they had to submit a South Park episode I'd rather they submit something like The Snuke, or Mystery of the Urinal Deuce.

What are the odds that South Park didn't submit "The Snuke" because they thought the Simpsons producers were going to submit their "24 parody" episode for consideration (and vice versa)?

My picks for this year: South Park (the SP crew as WoW characters is a hoot) and Robot Chicken (while I do know it's a parody, the Calvin and Hobbes bit finally gives us an idea of what the animated version of those two would be like).

Hoping for South Park, gut feeling the prize will be the Simpsons this year. The Robot Chicken episode they submitted wasn't the best one, And haven't seen the Spongebob or Avatar eps, so I can't comment.

Pulling for Family Guy for the music and lyrics one. That song deserves it.

Glad to see Hellboy get a nomination. Tad and the crew at Starz Media definitely deserved it (plus, it's always good to see a Toonami production get some love from the Emmy folks).

However, I am kind of taken aback that it doesn't count as a Cartoon Network nomination, but rather Starz. As I have echoed on the Toonami board, though Starz Media produced the film, it never aired on any of the Starz networks.

The odds would've been 1:0, because The Snuke aired on March 27, 2007 and 24 Minutes aired on May 24, 2007. March 30th was the cutoff date.

I'm soooo torn. Excellent nominations this year. Hellboy was freaking amazing, Good Wilt Hunting had everything anyone could want in a good family movie, and the Warcraft ep of South Park was one of the flat-out funniest ever. And then there's Avatar....*whimper* Who do I root for? I can't decide, I can't decide...

Oddly enough, the ones I'm rooting for I can see winning, which hasn't happened since the year Samurai Jack and Star Wars: Clone Wars won.

I'm rooting for the "Make Love, Not Warcraft" episode of South Park to win. "The Haw-Hawed Couple" was good for a newer Simpsons episode, but that's not saying a whole lot. I love Spongebob but "Bummer Vacation/Wigstruck" was just good and nothing special. I really don't like Robot Chicken getting an Emmy nod, and after re-watching the episode, I still feel the same. The Calvin and Hobbes sketch was really the only notable thing. If I were to choose an AS show to get nominated I'd difinitely go with Moral Orel. I'm happy to see Avatar get a nomination and it deserves it but I'd rather see South Park get it this year.

The one hour plus category has some great nominees, but I definitely am rooting for Hellboy: Sword of Storms. I do agree though that it is odd that the network getting the nomination for it is Starz when it never aired on the network.

Semi-OT: Personally, I really think they should have them submit four episodes instead of one for animated series, like the drama, comedy, and variety series, since it gives a better idea of the shows but all award shows have their flaws.

I''m rooting for everythign from CN and Comedy Central. Was Billy and Mandy elligible for Emmys? Cause if it was, Lazlo should not have been nominated

For the half-hour shows, I'll have to go with "South Park" (even if I think the episode's just a half-hour ad for the computer game, as amusing as it was) or "SpongeBob" (despite Wigstruck being so-so IIRC), even though "The Simpsons" is a shoo-in solely on name recognition.

For one hour or more, guess none of them---hate Camp Lazlo, and don't watch the rest.

Outstanding Original Music/Lyrics: whatever the competition is ("Family Guy" and "original" in the same sentence? Don't make me laugh...).

None of the other candidates seem much better, so I'll have to go with The Simpsons on this one.

As for the special, I'm almost certain Good Wilt Hunting will win. Lazlo just doesn't have that kick, Hellboy was nothing astounding, and I have nothing against the Discovery special, but it's Foster's were talking about. I must admit that show has come a long way since it first aired a few years ago. Now I see the DVDs and Bloo merchandise at Hot Topic.
