Toon Zone Talkback - "Air Gear" Soars

No, I liked it quite a bit. It's nothing too deep or anything, but very fun. Also, there's only two versions of the show: A DVD version with minimal censorship, and a TV version with excessive censorship. There are censorship crows in both versions,, just less so on the DVRAB, and I'm pretty sure that FUNimation uses the same DVD masters that ADV used (otherwise there'd be a bigger outcry, I'd think). Are breasts censored in the FUNimation set?

i saw Air Gear couple years ago on AnimeNetworkOnDemand (ANOD).
show was freakin awesome. i alternated between the dub and sub.
definetly worth it.
i'm actually purchasing anime dvd boxsets i saw like 5 years ago, and collecting them.
first was rahxephon.
second will be air gear.

and third will be vandread. because vandread was a sweet anime. info: galactic war between men and women. each side believes the other is an
evil alien. hehe...

I dunno... I liked the series at first, but around vol. 4, I gradually started to lose interest the longer it went. I just didn't particularly care about what was happening.

The OP and ED themes are still some of my favorites, though, and there are some good alternative tunes in the show.

dude...i'm seriously gettin the ultimate dvd collection boxset next month.

had that hardcore shonen vibe to it.
characters were actually hilarious.
played humorous themes as well as serious one...perfect balance.
