This is the talkback thread for ADV Films Announces New March Titles Including "Clannad".

I may try out Clannad. None of the re-releases particularly interest me. (and they JUST re-released Chrono Crusade- a little soon for another, doncha think?)
 
Hmm. I'll probably at least take the opportunity to see Five Star Stories, even though I know it's basically a cliff's notes version of a much larger epic.

I may want Petite Princess Yucie.

I remeraber watching a couple of episodes when I had the linear Anime Network channel, and it was a pretty good experience.

Don't care for the others, especially the sub-only ones.
 
I'm thinking of picking up Five Star Stories just for the fact that Satoshi Urushihara had a hand in this show considering how much of a HUGE Urushihara fanboy I am.
 
Yipes - ADV is cribbing from the Media Blaster's playbook of single thickness multidisc sets and fanservicey art to push these. (The Gravion cover is particularly over the top - you wouldn't even know it's a mech show!)

Flipside, I dug what I've seen of Diamond Daydreams, and getting the whole show in a single disc thickness pack on the cheap is damned tempting, 100 disc backlog and lots of business to attend too aside.
 
You see that Clannad cover? See it? That's the kind of cover that when I see it in the store, I look at it and think "Oh man this is going to have an awesome dub."

(sigh....bet they could have gotten Spike Spencer as Sunohara too....)

Or a N. Yuki fan ---> Weight Watchers character designs FTW. Seriously that will be a pretty cool one to get.
 
I wouldn't mind seeing Lady Death in Blu-Ray, if only for the novelty. It's just such a disappointment that the movie didn't deliver.
 
If they haven't read the manga, those people on AoD forums are going to be so disappointed with the Princess Resurrection anime (which the only thing good about it is the opening theme, and its DRAGONBALL sound effects)


And I can't wait to watch Koharu Biyori again, although it's a shame it won't have a dub
