Too much news coverage on Michael Jackson?

Do you think the news coverage of Michael Jackson's death is excessive? I mean there's nothing new coming in but yet they are still reporting on it. Don't get me wrong, he was a legendary artist whose music will live on for generations to come.
 
Most definitely. Have people forgotten that Farrah Fawcett and Ed McMahon died too?
 
yea i think it is a little tooo much for him, i mean people do die in the end no matter if your a celebrity or not so this day is gonna come for all celebrities also! i think that they should stop all the news and stuff, its just repeating the same thing!
 
OMG - this is the strangest, most frivolous country on the planet to spend SO MUCH time on that weirdo. Is it a big surprise that a guy like that drops dead? No

We do this with every celebrity.... There is REAL NEWS out there to report! but all we get is day after day after day of the same news clip over and over and over.

The "News" channels are SO STRANGE! Who cares! I'd like to hear some actual news - but you have to go to the Internet for that.
 
Oh my god, yes! I was watching a half-an-hour long news programme and over half of that was about Michael Jackson. It drove me insane... there are other more important things happening in the world.

Way. way. Way too much coverage on his death. There was alot of stars out there, That was just as big, and even bigger that didn't get this much coverage when they died.
 
yeah i think there r more important things goin on in the world than mjs death. 1 day is enough and then u can do 10 min segs when new stuff comes in. let tmz and E! cover the rest
 
I don't like him what so ever, and I seem like that only person that feels that way. Sure, he was great in the 80's, but I was born in the 90's. Therefore, I know him as the little child molester that was absolutely without a doubt, crazy! So yes, too much news coverage. He deserves none.
 
ABSOLUTELY...

Due Credit is Deserved, but it is OVER DONE.....

People should just be allowed a few days of silence etc...to reflect on thier own and take it all in...it is driving my kids nuts....
