too early for home pregnancy test?

okay so i took two today and both were negative :( it has been exactly two weeks after conception. was it too early to take one? could it be false negatives or what should i do?
well i havent gotten my period since sept. i was suppose to get it around the time of conception. instead, the week after conception, i got very light brown spotting for a day then super light red stains for like half a day (mostly when i wiped) so i'm so confused:(
 
i would say it could be too early, mine didnt show up til i was 5 weeks along. it just depends on how your hormones are growin. i would test again in a week or two or until you have missed your period. good luck!
 
It could just be a little early. It can be hard to wait, but the best time to check is close to your next expected period, or you can wait and see if you miss the next one then try a test, which is recommended. There are early pregnancy test you can also try. I have a baby, and one on the way, and I tested a few days before my expected period.
 
yes way to early, if you are doing any type of home test you should wait until 5 days BEFORE YOUR MISSED PERIOD. any sooner there is a high chance of a false negative. if you want to find out now you will need to go to a clinic and get a blood test done.
