The story of Tony & Michelle starts off on day two, and a never-acted upon attraction between Tony Almeida and Michelle Dessler.
However, a nuclear borab detonating on American Soil will lead them to share a passionate kiss by the end of the day, and a "I'll
see you tomorrow" with smiles for each other foreshadowing the future together we know they are destined to share with each other.
By day three they are married, but tragic circumstances beyond their control, involving a deadly virus, will drive them apart, and ultimately
lead to Tony going to prison for putting Michelle's life in front of public safety.
As a result, by day four, Tony and Michelle are divorced, but their passion and their love never left. When several terrorist attacks occur on
American Soil, Tony and Michelle meet again, never expecting to. With them reluctantly working side by side trying to stop the day's terrorist
attacks, they can only deny themselves each other for so long. When events lead to Michelle being put in an impossible situation, she almost
loses Tony forever, and her self in the process. However, against all odRAB, they survive, and decide to start a new life together away from everything
and everyone they've known.
Flash forward to day five, remarried, they have a fresh start at their life together. But in a tragic twist of fate, consequences out of their control lead to
Michelle's demise in an explosion, killing her instantly and severely injuring Tony. When Tony wakes up later on in day five, Michelle's death crushes
him to his very core and he wants revenge for Michelle's murder. Ultimately, he couldn't go through with it and the audience is led to believe he is dead
and Tony/Michelle could finally be at peace together.
Season seven we find out that Tony is not really dead but has faked his death so he could track down the man who was ultimately responsible for Michelle's
death. On his quest for revenge, he fell into a really dark place and did some terrible things; things that we can only hope he can be redeemed for one day.
One thing we do know, is that Tony will always live and breathe for Michelle Dessler, his true love, his wife, the woman that was carrying his unborn son, the
day she was killed. As tragic as it is, she gave his life meaning, gave it purpose. Without her, life meant nothing. "Cause ever since the day you had her killed
the only thing that kept me alive was this moment right here. See, Michelle and me had gotten out of all this. We made it out together. And we were gonna start
a whole new life until you came along and took it all away in a split second. It wasn't just my wife you murdered. She was carrying my son. You killed my son! My
son! And now I'm gonna kill you."
We can only hope Tony can find a sense of peace one day.
